It has been revealed that for Terrence Malick's new romantic drama Song to Song, the famously experimental director has cut Christian Bale, Haley Bennett, Benicio del Toro, Trevante Rhodes and Boyd Holbrook's performances from the film.
Films go through a vast chopping and changing throughout their production - from the screenwriter's initial idea all the way to release, loads of stuff gets added, changed or removed.
