Cirque Du Soleil: Journey Of Man
Formed in 1984, Quebec-based Cirque du Soleil blends traditional circus arts with dadaist costumes and world beat music. The circus has performed in 120 cities on three continents for more than 17 million people. This large-format picture, filmed over a four-month period, captures Cirque du Soleil performances against natural and historical landmarks around the world, including Germany's Brandenburg Gate. The storyline follows a child on a mystical journey through the stages of man, from the dawn of time to present day. It was directed by large-format veteran Keith Melton and co-written by "Max Headroom" creator Peter Wagg and Steve Roberts. It will be available in both 3-D and 2-D versions, depending on each theatre's projection capabilities.
