On its release,Taken wasn't given much of a fanfare, but turned into a cult classic in the following years.

The role re-ignited Liam Neeson's career, and turned him into an A-list fighting action hero, but has also typecast him into playing virtually the same role in all of his films.

Here are the films that Neeson has starred in since, where he pretty much plays Taken's Bryan Mills.

Unknown (2011)

Liam Neeson plays: Martin Harris, a doctor who wakes up after a four-day coma to discover that his identity has been taken and he must fight to get to the truth.

Imagine Bryan Mills having to investigate to discover what's happened to his identity (rather than his daughter) but not skilled at fighting.

The Grey (2011)

Liam Neeson plays: John Ottway, an Alaskan oil driller whose plane crashes in a blizzard and must fight off a pack of hungry wolves. 

Imagine Bryan Mills, but fighting blood-thirsty wolves instead of human-trafficking Arabs.

Batman Begins (2012)

Liam Neeson plays: Henri Ducard/Ra's Al-Ghul, a highly-skilled fighting expert who mentors young Bruce Wayne, resulting in him becoming Batman.

Imagine Bryan Mills, but using his martial arts abilities to destroy Gotham City.

Non-Stop (2014)

Liam Neeson plays: William "Bill" Marks, an alcoholic US Air Marshall who must fight terrorists onboard a transatlantic flight.

Imagine Bryan Mills, but on a plane.

A Walk Among The Tombstones (2014)

Liam Neeson plays: Matthew Scudder, a former cop turned private eye who is asked by a drug kinpin to find the men who kidnapped his wife.

Imagine Bryan Mills, but trying to find someone else's kidnapped wife.

Run All Night (2015)

Liam Neeson plays: Jimmy Conlon, a mobster who must protect his son from being murdered by his boss in revenge for the death of his own son.

Imagine Bryan Mills, but protecting his son instead of his daughter.

Yes, I have realized that as well... the movies are good typically, but it annoys me because of the fact he is always in these type of movies. He should definitely try something different.
