what's the story
The story centers on best friends Romeo and Gavin, two young boys from a working class neighborhood whose relationship is put to the test when they are rescued from a street scuffle by a stranger who befriends one and distances the other. Featured players include Andrew Shim (Romeo), Ben Marshall (Gavin) and Paddy Considine in their feature film debut, and veteran actor Bob ("COUSIN BETTE") Hoskins. Shane Meadows helms the drama, his first since completing "TWENTYFOURSEVEN" in 1997.
