Renowned scientist Dr. Helen Benson (Jennifer "BLOOD DIAMIOND" Connelly) finds herself face to face with an alien called Klaatu (Keanu "MATRIX RELOADED" Reeves), who travels across the universe to warn of an impending global crisis. When forces beyond Helen's control treat the extraterrestrial as a hostile and deny his request to address the world's leaders, she and her estranged stepson Jacob quickly discover the deadly ramifications of Klaatu's claim that he is "a friend to the Earth." Now Helen must find a way to convince the entity who was sent to destroy us that mankind is worth saving--but it may be too late. The process has begun. A re-make of the 1951 film directed by Robert Wise. Scott ("THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE") Derrickson directs.

A spacecraft arrives on Earth, bringing with it Klaatu (Keanu Reeves), a messenger from another world, who has been sent to observe the strange race known as mankind. At first, scientists are curious about the invader and question him thoroughly. He warns of impending doom.

this film is very good in my opinion i have seen reviews on other websites where people have let comments saying that is it very poor this made me unsure about seeing this film but i really enjoyed it !! i would recommend this film to people who like things like doctor who and Independence day !!...
