what's the story
Set in medieval Paris, this animated musical is based on Victor Hugo's classic novel, "Notre Dame de Paris," in which the hideously deformed but good-hearted bell-ringer Quasimodo (voice of Tom Hulce), offers refuge to a gypsy girl (voice of Demi Moore) who has been unjustly accused of witchcraft. Kevin Kline supplies the voice for heroic captain Phoebus, Esmerelda's other love interest. This bittersweet romantic saga was directed by Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise, marking their first production since completing "BEAUTY AND THE BEAST" in 1991.
