what's the story
Three high school buddies decide to celebrate their 1957 graduation by pulling a prank sure to stir up the locals in small-town Minnesota. The prank consists of a bank robbery in which two of the boys, David (David Arquette) and Joe (Jonah Blechman), pull up in a getaway car, shoot their accomplice Tim (Jason London) with blanks, and drive off with the body stashed in the trunk. They unwittingly get caught in the midst of a real heist and Tim is taken as hostage by criminal mastermind Florence (Michey Rourke), while Florence's partner and lover (Stephen Baldwin), is mistakenly absconded by the two boys. The teens are brutaly tortured for ruining the robbery until Florence agrees to a second attempt, during which Tim escapes with futile hopes to save his friends. Ultimately, most of them are laid to waste in a violent bloodbath.
